There are a few items in this pack, with each serving a different purpose, so it's hard to write one review for them all. I like the mitts best. I use the small finger-sized protector to slide a hot rack in and out of a toaster oven. They are good for that but I find them to be difficult to use when you want to work with anything other than the rack because it is not meant for gripping; the material doesn't conform to anything when you move your fingers and try to grasp a tray, for example. I can feel heat after a few seconds of trying to handle something hot while using the finger-sized protector. That has not been a problem for me when I used the full-sized oven mitt. It's got a few layers, is comfortable and easy to work with.Bought this set of oven mitts two days ago. The product was shipped within two days, faster than expected. This set includes one pair of mitts, one pair of pot holders and one pair of thermal insulation plates. I really like the cerulean color. The main material for this set is silicone, for which I was afraid that it might be sticky or uncomfortable to use. The doubt was cleared once I received the product. The silicone feels elastic but not sticky, and is also highly resilient to stretching. The interiors of the mitts are cotton which feels soft and warm.After testing with holding a hot pot and a baking pan at high temperature, I'm certain that the product has superb thermal insulation. I can hold those hot items up to 30 seconds until feeling the heat, enough for transporting the items to a safe location. The silicone exteriors provide excellent friction for gripping strength on hot items, making the process even safer.Overall, this kitchen set totally get the job done. The quality is far beyond the price.For what you get, this is a great value. I used every item in this offering. Heat resistance with the big mitten is good until about 450 degrees, at which point you need to find a spot for whatever you are holding in about 4-6 secs. The little fingertip pot holders (I use these the most) are way less heat resistant. Either way, this set gets the jobs done for me.Great product, oven mitts long enough not to get burned. The pot holders are a great bonus, I don't know how I cooked without them before.The potholders are too thick to get a good grip but they make a handy resting place for hot pots and dishes. All in all, very reasonable price for the 6 piece set.These are a God send - after years of burnt up, dirty, wilted cotton holders that constantly required replacing.This gloves are super comfortable and you feel zero heat through them. The heat pads are perfect for hot plates or pots on counters or tabletops. And the handles are very useful for pulling our casserole type dishes.Very satisfied!
